Does UCAN have showroom displays and other marketing material?

UCAN offers a variety of showroom displays and marketing material, including Point of Purchase Displays and customized flyers. The full range of UCAN’s offering can be found in the Marketing Materials section of the website.

Does UCAN paint screw heads?

UCAN carries several sizes and colours of painted screw heads in stock. Other sizes/colours may be available upon request depending on volume and availability.

Is UCAN able to assemble screws with bonded EPDM washers?

UCAN carries a wide range of screws that are pre-assembled with washers. UCAN also has the ability to assemble screws in-house.

Can UCAN supply fasteners not listed in UCAN’s catalogue?

UCAN strives to provide the right fastening solution for its customers. Please contact your local sales representative to discuss products that are not currently in our offering.

Does UCAN have a LEEDS statement?

COMPANY

UCAN FASTENING PRODUCTS provides steel and alloy anchors made to our specifications and available throughout Canada. Although companies cannot be LEED certified, UCAN makes every effort to minimize the environmental impact of our operation.

FASTENERS: POST-CONSUMER RECYCLED CONTENT

UCAN fasteners can contribute to credits under LEED for new construction. Our various manufacturing facilities rely on domestic steel sources using the maximum available recycled material. Similarly, plastic parts are produced from post-consumer material, when possible. In addition, cardboard boxes and cartons are made from recycled paper. However, in each instance, it is impossible to determine the exact % content of such material.

LEED assumes that any steel product has a post-consumer recycled content of 25%.

FLOROK adhesive anchors contain low to no VOCs.

Can I obtain a mill certificate (“cert”)?

Mill certificates are available upon request. Please contact Customer Service at sales@ucanfast.com

What items do I have on the backorder?

Backorder reports are available from the order desk upon request. For specific items, please contact your local sales representative.

When will my order arrive at its final destination?

 Please contact the order desk or your local sales representative who will be able to provide you with a tracking number and/or expected arrival time.

When will my order be ready for pickup?

If requested, orders can be ready for pickup within 2 hours of ordering. Please contact the order desk to confirm that the items are picked.

Where can I buy UCAN anchors and drill bits?

UCAN has distribution partners across Canada. Please contact your local sales rep to find your nearest distributor.

How do I calculate the amount of FLOROK adhesive I will need for my job?

UCAN has a Flo-Rok Volume Calculator that can be utilized to calculate the amount of Flo-Rok required for a given job.

How do I submit UCAN’s anchor for approval?

UCAN provides submittal forms to enable customers to submit UCAN’s anchor for approval. Please contact your local sales representative if you have any questions.

Does UCAN have design software?

UCAN has its own design software called Design-it. Please contact your local sales representative if you have any questions.

Does UCAN publish load data for my fastener?

Please refer to UCAN’s technical sheets to view the data for all of our products. If you have any questions please contact engineering@ucanfast.com or your local sales representative.

Where can I find SDS (Safety Data Sheet) for my anchor?

The SDS sheets for UCAN’s anchors can be found on the website.

I’m experiencing trouble installing an anchor. What should I do?

If you are experiencing any issues installing an anchor or are unsure how to install an anchor, please contact engineering@ucanfast.com or your local sales representative.

How do I properly install my anchor?

UCAN has training videos for many of its products. You can also request a training session or demo from your local sales representative.
